Description

Carex amphibola is a compact native sedge that does well in shade gardens and woodlands.  It has lovely shiny green foliage and produces green flower spikes in late spring.   It can be useful in meadows, wildlife gardens and for mass planting.   It thrives in a shaded site with deep moist soil.
