Description
Ruudbeckia hirta, commonly called black-eyed Susan grows well in open woods, prairies and fields. It has daisy-like flowers with bright yellow to orange-yellow rays with domed, dark chocolate-brown center disks. It blooms throughout the summer and grows up to 1-3’ tall. It looks great in borders in cottage gardens in masses and makes a great cut flower.
