Description
Rudbeckia laciniata, commonly called tall coneflower, typically grows to around 3 to 4ft but can grow as tall as 9′ in the wild! Its lovely daisy-like flowers have dome-like green centers and bloom for a long time from mid to late summer. Its a plant that can be used for accent in a wildlife garden and attracts butterflies and bees. It tolerates humid conditions and wet soils and because of that can be a useful addition to a rain garden.
